Serafim Romanov, CEO and founder of Surfin'ua

Serafim used to be an IT-specialist and had a pretty boring life. Not to become a total geek he started playing american football and was quite good in it. But in 2011 he tried surfing and his life was irrevocably changed.

After a couple of years of riding waves, he started to promote surf culture in Ukraine — and that’s how Surfin’ua was born. Besides Serafim is a member of Ukrainian Surfing Federation.

Right before the war started, he moved to Portugal with his wife and newborn son. Now lives and works in Ericeira.

Anna Kybitko, copywriter

Before the war started Anna had been an editor in chief of Ukrainian lifestyle media. She never tried surfing, but it’s not a problem when she writes about it. She blames us for grammatical mistakes all the time and likes watching beautiful guys riding the waves. Recently she’s temporarily moved to Budapest. If you in search of English/Ukrainian/Russian copywriter don’t hesitate to ask us for her contacts.

Beata Nahaieva, booking manager

Beata – that girl behind the messages you receive after submitting a trip application on our website. With several years of working and traveling with us, she knows mostly all kinds of questions you can ask and answers for them.

She prefers text communication to phone calls, such a millennial thing, right?

Anastasia Romanova, project manager

Nastya fell in love with surfing after her first trip to Portugal. Later she became a longboarder and keeps searching for the perfect conditions: no wind, warm water, small and long waves. Well, good luck with it. We found her when she was doing her women’s business things (like running a private cinemas/game room) and look at her now — loving mom who likes to ride waves.

Recently, right before Russian invasion of Ukraine, she had moved to Portugal where continued working hard as our project’s manager and muse.
